At Crown Quarter, we believe that looking after our guests and looking after our environment can go hand in hand. From the way we use energy and water to reducing single-use plastics and supporting local food producers, we’re continually looking at ways to make more responsible choices.
Our approach is about making practical changes that can have a positive impact, while continuing to provide the comfortable, enjoyable experience our guests expect.

Making More Responsible Choices Behind the Scenes
Some of the most important sustainability measures at Crown Quarter happen behind the scenes.
Across the hotel, we use LED lighting and energy-efficient heating systems, alongside technology such as heat pumps and heat exchangers. Our bedrooms have also been designed with efficiency in mind, with insulation helping to retain heat and reduce unnecessary energy use.
These may not always be things guests notice during their stay, but they form an important part of our approach to using energy more efficiently.
Reducing Plastic & Everyday Waste
Small Changes That Add Up
We’re continually looking for simple ways to reduce waste throughout the hotel.
Crown Quarter has removed plastic water bottles from guest bedrooms, with filtered drinking water available through dedicated water dispensers within the hotel.
We also use refillable soap and shampoo dispensers in our bedrooms, helping to reduce the amount of single-use plastic associated with individual toiletries.
Recycling facilities are also available throughout the hotel, making it easier for guests and our team to make more responsible choices during their stay.

Our sustainability approach also extends to the food we serve. At Crown Quarter, we’re proud to work with local producers and suppliers, bringing the quality and flavour of Wexford to the menus at Crown Bar and Jasper’s.
From Redmond Farm beef, sourced within just 8–10km of the hotel, to fresh seafood from Meylers Fish Company, yoghurt from Killowen Farm and bakery products from Cooney’s Bakery in Enniscorthy, our food has a strong connection to the local area.
By supporting local suppliers, we can showcase the best of Wexford while helping support businesses within our local community.

For guests arriving by car, Crown Quarter is affiliated with Quay Side Car Park, conveniently located beside Crown Bar and opposite Wexford Bridge.
