Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann

Traditional musicians of all ages will gather for the 2024 Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Wexford. This Irish music festival run by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, a non-profit organisation, includes live music events as well as competition. It is the biggest event of its kind in the world and it is expected that the event could see up to 700,000 people descend on Wexford Town. It will be the fifth time our southeast county has hosted the popular festival, which is the world’s largest celebration of Irish trad music, language, songs and dance.

Festival programming includes music and concerts in a variety of outdoor and indoor locations, with national and internationally renowned traditional music artists. Competitions with 200 + competitions in music, singing, dancing, comhrá Gaeilge & storytelling, Scoil Éigse – an international Summer School, Seachtain na Gaeilge – week-long immersive events in the Irish language.

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2024 will run from 4th – 11th August.
